Hey everybody,

I've never posted here before, but I've been a reader for a long
time. I'm writing because I'm getting circ'd in two days. I'm an
18-year-old senior in high school. I've wanted to be cut as long
as I can remember, certainly since I first saw my 2 best friends
pee around kindergarten or 1st grade. When I was born, my
mom, who squirms at the thought of any sort of surgery, did
research and decided circumcision was unnecessary, and my
dad had no opinion, so she won.

I've always been a little apprehensive about stripping in public,
such as locker rooms, due to my definite minority status. Of all
body parts, your dick is not something you want to seem
different. At my high school, though, there is not a whole lot of
openness, and most people don't get naked in front of each
other, so not too many people know anyone's circ status. I've
always envied my cut friends' cocks, though, and after going to
numerous websites, I decided that since I'm 18, I'm going to
have it done. I went to a urologist and told him that I was
experiencing excessive smell and smegma production (which
isn't true at all), and he recommended circumcision, so my
insurance will cover it. I told my parents that I have "restriction
problems" (also not true, but I had to tell them something
medical). So, it's all set, unless it has to be rescheduled, which
they already did to me once.

The one thing I'm worried about is sensitivity. I've read some
people say that the sensation is better once you're cut, and
others have said that it's more dull. It would be great if some
people who were circ'd as teens or young adults could tell me
about this. I'd also like to know about long term effects, so if you
were cut as a teen or young adult and are now an older adult, I'd
really appreciate comments.

I might take before-and-after pictures. I figure I'll only get one
chance at it. Hope to hear from some of you soon.
