Straw-hole, that's a new word :D
>What he told me, and that I didn't realize was of significance was that the phimosis is due to a very fine scar running all the way around this straw-hole.
Now, that's something new. Have you yourself noticed any scars there before?
Usually, phimosis is simply there because of the fact you weren't taught nor did "invent" retracting. Simple as that, it never got stretched. --- What you now have to do, is to fix the lag you ended up having due to not using your foreskin.>I have been lightly stretching and applying vitamin e for about three months now. Though there has been some improvement, at the rate this is going I will be 80 by the time I have complete retractability. I am currently 21.
I think it'll help us in any sort of suggestions if you describe how you've been stetching and how often.
Vitamin E --- I don't think that'd be of any help with the skin, but I guess Paul B. can tell more about that, he's the one into medicine around here anyway. The normal -- and helpful -- suggestion is Betamethasone (in some places called Betnovate) ointment, 0.05% It is a steroid product, and again, Paul will most probably be more aware of its works or at least links to previous descriptions of the product.>Is there anything that I can request to make the process speed up? I asked about topical steroids, but the MD was concerned about laceration. Actually, he was concerned about me just stretching, but I am QUITE careful.
>Thank you for all of your suggestions.
