I have heard that in some cases, once the scar is fully healed, the scar becomes elastic again and your foreskin becomes retractable again. But I woudln't really risk it.

If you have an erection, is your foreskin now short enough that it wants to retract fully by itself ? If so, having lengthy erections will help.

When soft, how much can you retract easily ?

You may consider putting a "lotion" on the scar. This could be vitamin E oil or just some ointment such as polysporin that helps skin stay elastic while healing.

Also, if you can retract skin when soft, try to keep it retracted as much as possible. The scar will heal much faster when out in the open, and more importantly, will heal "wider".

I am partially circumcised, and I didn't really have any phimosis problems after the circ, except after lengthy bike ride in hot weather (sweat). It would then be phimotic during a few hours or but just working it for about half and hour during erection would loosen it back.

As long as your skin is short enough now to retract automatically, once the thing is healed, I don't think you'll have any problems after say 6 months. However, if yoru original phimosis was caused by some skin problem, and the doctor didn't remove all of the skin that was problematic, then your circ may not solve the problem in the long term. (minimal circs are the ones that cause the most problems because of that).

I woudln't worry too much, but I would definitely exercise your foreskin GENTLY as much as possible to stretch it back, and as soon as you can retract it, leave it retracted as much as possible for a few weeks at least.
