I use Timodine when I get dry skin or a 'nappy rash' type irritation on my pecker. It takes the redness and itching away and clears up the problem very quickly. I think it is anti-flammatory and anti-fungal--apparently this is good for candida type infections that may accompany nappy rash type infections. It is excellent for this use and is well worth a try for your problem especially if your doctor recommended it. Listen to your doc...if it was my pecker, I would be trying different creams if Timodine didn't work, just go back to your doc or another one...an operation would be the last thing on my mind, though.
