Basically, when you're attacked by a virus, it multiplicates exponentially until the immune system starts a battle with it. If a virus is "dormant" after that battle, it's because of an equilibrium between the virus and the presence of the antibodies. Sure, there IS a possibility of small battles in the future, but in between battles the virus can do no harm! "Dormat" means "well hidden away". Lots of antibodies, remember?
So, what supporters of the HIV/AIDS theory are suggesting is that HIV somehow HARMS the immune system WHILE being dormant. HOW is this possible? Dormant is dormant.
