Everyone's penis is different. What you described is a very common situation, lots of other males have exactly the same circumstance.
At this point, your penis and foreskin aren't giving you any trouble at all, so as they say, why mess with success.
If at some time in the future you decide that you want your foreskin to retract when erect, then it is a matter of doing some simple stretching exercises that are described many places on this site.
Some people will tell you that this or that is normal, but that's only their opinion, largely shaped by folks in medical circles who are circumcised and never had a foreskin after infancy.
Till you want something else or your foreskin gives you a problem, then I'd leave it alone.
