Yet another foreskin question sorry

hiya sorry u must be gettin bored of me lol but i have one more question:
when i get an erection should my foreskin automatically retract back? becuase at the moment mine doesn't.

oh and also, i'm doing my stretching exercises about 2 or 3 times a day, not showing much signs of improvment when i pull it back yet but i guess after 3 days of doing them its not that bad. what do you think?
