>>> b) pull down and outwards whilst flaccid using fingers
>>Useful because on the one hand, you can do it whilst dallying, simply by putting a hand down the trousers, so that if someone approaches, you can remove the hand very quickly. This may as you have figured, be more comfortable as it does not press on the glans.
>** Use both hands? **
?
>>Come now, you seem to have a very peculiar concept of "normal" and "erogenous". From where (ah! I know, it was those doctors and the Internet again, was it not?) do you get this idea that you are supposed to be mauling your exposed glans at all, let alone that this should be "erogenous" (erotic)?
>** In normal men (non-phimotic), the glans is exposed and they make love
>without pain - I recoil in pain if my (partially-exposed) glans is touched,
>by anything. **Well, in normal men, the glans isn't exposed either. In circumcised men, it is, and they are likely to get pleasure from fondling their glans. It's true that an amount of normal (non-phimotic, intact) men have a "well trained" glans, but I wouldn't think think of that as something really common. And afterall, if you are talking about sex, nothing else but a -- preferably -- well lubricated (um, yay for natural juices :P) vagina is going to get in contact with your penis, and by that I mean not RUBBING to it (that word implies friction). Your hand, fingers weren't (in the first approach) meant to be in contact with your glans. Just as weren't they with the inner side of your eyelids.
>** I'll be up for using lubricant as you have advised, and will report back. But
>I don't believe the problem is entirely dryness - it feels like the skin is raw **That's how it feels like, I remember from my childhood. As time flies away, this aspect will gradually lessen, as will the overall sensitivity. Faster when it's constantly exposed, god forgive, rubbed to something, slower when it is protected. Which, on the long run, is probably favourable.
>>> Painful glans and phimosis seem to go together, so I assume removing the phimosis would remove the pain on the glans, eventually.
>>If indeed in the process, you learn how to look after your foreskin.
>** Not sure I follow **Nor do I, this time, to be honest.
