An interesting point. Given that both replies were within an hour of the original posting and the only other posting made in that period was one down further by "Vincent", the amount of typing involved in Jim's posting might indeed represent about six minutes work overall.

On the other hand and by the same tokens, you took a bare one minute to write this post. Also, Jim had not posted for over 24 hours, and therefore, had a lot to read, so it is likely that he didn't even see the "Anonymous" post because as you know, unless you refresh these pages, you only see what was there when you first read them in the current browser session.

If you want to draw conclusions from the temporal relationships of posts here, I think you'll need to do a much more extensive analysis than that.
