And thank you for your opinion. I don't happen to agree with your theory that there will be pain, but perhaps you have reason to believe so. So be it. I also don't agree that someone would suffer any psychological damage from using devices which are leading to a cure. Every time I have suggested the use of any device, it has been with the caution to avoid pain, and to check the device regularly in order to prevent uneven pressure upon any tender parts. The giving of any advice is always predicted upon the assumption that the taker has good common sense also.

At the moment, there are reported to be 40,000 known men who have undergone foreskin restoration. Among those have been users of commericially produced devices which are inserted into the formed preputial cavity, all of which are in direct contact with the glans. Some of the devices are made of stainless steel, some of soft silicone-like material and others of various other materials. Other guys have fashioned homemade devices from stainless steel pill tubes, plastic pill tubes, and, yes, even 35mm film canisters. I've personally never known of even one man who has reported anything more than temporary discomfort from having worn the device for too long a period without checking it. Certainly no one has ever suffered any kind of permanent or even temporary damage as a result.

While I respect your right to assume that there might be some discomfort, I have to disagree that anyone could possibly be in danger of any kind if that person takes precautions that the device is smooth and will not cause allergic reaction because of the material from which is it construted. Because plastic is so commonly used in medicical procedures today, it is highly unlikely to be the source of irritation.
