If you are not happy or sure about your doctor's recommendation, then why not get a second opinion. Do you "absolutely have to do the circumcision"? That depends on why he feels you need to be circumcised (infection, paraphimosis etc.) You might want to try stretching the foreskin. It can help in some cases. However, I'd certainly suggest getting another opinion. Also, if you haven't done so already, check out the site that hosts this forum for some more information about conditions and treatments for non-retracting foreskins.
