I had this procedure a couple of years back. The initial injection is like getting stung by a bee on your willy. That pain lasts about 20 seconds then it's pain free. Post surgery it was a little sore from time to time, but it was virtually pain free. You might find my Circumcision FAQ useful for some answers about the healing process etc (I had a partial circumcision to deal with phimosis and afterward the frenulum surgery.)
