Just a quickie, yes I chose surgery but it was to fix a phimosis and the pretty much unused (no skin back means it had never been moved). So yes I'm happy with my outcome but I certainly wasnt a pro circ far enough to take it all the way, I chose a bit off the top, and for me that worked a treat.

>Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in -
>My ex had this done (as an adult) He waited about a month before we had sex. And went thru a good 3-5 days of pain. He also got erections which hurt like bloody hell (the first week or so) His biggest problem aside from the initial pain, was ongoing problems, such as his glans rubbing on his clothing, and immediate change in sensation. For him, sex was never the same. He said he lost about 80% of the sensation.
>Every person has a different recovery and feelings afterwards. It seems as though the pro- circ crowd (the people who do it for "looks" or a deep psychological need, vs. those who have phimosis, seem to always be happy with the results - so they like to come on here and say how wonderful they feel afterwards. Well, of course they feel wonderful. They got the circumcision they wanted.
>If it's an issue of phimosis, you may want to try alternative methods before you jump to surgery. You're an adult, so it's your choice. Just realize that it's permanent, even if you hate it - you're stuck with it.
