phimosis?

Hi, I have just been to the doctor because I thought I had an infection in my forskin(and I really do have it). The doctor said I had phimosis and need a circumcision. Somebody referred me to this forum, saying you guys know better than that. Well, I'm here, and I'm ready to listen to what you have to say.
