Well the first doctor did recommend the cut but I like my body intact so went for a second opinion, a female doctor this time, who gave me the lovely cream. And yes I will be doing the exercises to get rid of the last bit.
As for the pain, direct contact isn't painfull its only if there's friction/movement such even lightly running my finger over the head! Have found that rubbing E45 into it helps in that its not painfull to rub but even my g/f goes down on me if her tongue slips under the foreskin and makes a rubbing contact with the head ouch time!>OK, SilverAlex: Hurrah for you and your success at retraction. Having a doctor who didn't automatically recommend circumcision is almost unknown in the USA, but then the Brits and the US seem to compete with everything. Sometimes we are "with it" and sometimes you are. We should learn from one another.
>You say that you still have residual tightness. Try some of the exercises illustrated in the messages below, and you'll find complete success in no time.
>As for a glans which is extremely painful to the touch...making sex "impossible", what kind of sex have you been attempting? What kind of "touch"? The penis and it's glans are designed to enter an extremely moist vagina, ideally with the glans covered until the moment of entry. Anything short of that may well be painful until gradual use over time accustoms the glans to a more "crude" touch. Circumcised men gradually lose almost all of their sensitivity, for instance, due to constant exposure and touch with a variety of surfaces and substances.
>So tell us more, specifically about the kind of touch you have been attempting.

>>Ok, here goes!
>>First problem, I had phomisis till a couple of year ago when a doctor gave me some steriod cream and the problem was largely got rid of apart from some risidual tightness. Hoorah.
>>Second problem, The glans on my penis are extremely painfull to the touch and can only be pleasantly stimulated through the foreskin. this of course makes sex impossible. I've been trying to rub in E45 cream to slowly desensitise the head but after a year or two although there is an improvement, sex is still a no no.
>>Has anyone else had this and managed to desensitise the head enough for sex to complete the task?
