>I'm afraid I can't retract today either. What causes the pain is not the frenulum wound itself but mainy the foreskin on the other side. It wasn't only a frenuloplasty - the doctor cut some of the foreskin too (partial circ) to prevent paraphimosis problems. Is it possible to have an infection? How do you know when you get one?
>I think I will go and have it checked again tommorow by my doctor.Infections are always a possibility after any surgery. Were you given any instructions about dressings and keeping the area clean? I would be inclined to check with your doctor if you have concerns about it.
Also, you might find my Circumcision FAQ useful in answering some questions you may have. I had a partial circumcision and frenulum removed a couple of years back and put together the faq since there is a lack of objective information on the Internet about post-surgery etc.
Hope this helps.
