I'm not referring people to other sites for them to get advice from. I merely posted some links so that he could learn more about the condition before taking on board advice from individuals that unqualified.

>It is not up to you to decide what is trolling and what is not. The only valid definition I could accept for trolling is this: "trolling is posting relatively many messages with relatively few original content".

That is your definition of a troll, Chimp. However, I would venture that most people would say a troll is someone that consistently posts off-topic threads and is a dick just for the sake of being a dick and not because he feels he is contributing something worthwhile to the topic at hand.

>Your forum is no more free than Jim's, in fact it's less free. You know why?
>I posted a lot on Jim's forum some time ago asking inquiring questions. I didn't get booted. I post 1 single message on your forum, and I get banned for life.

I allow all views on the subject at hand to be posted and viewed by others. I do not, however, allow trolling. You were a troll. I wrote to you via e-mail afterwards and offered you another chance to contribute (without the trolling bs) and we'll see what happens from there.

>It's not because Jim is any more decent, he's just an old man who doesn't know shit about computers. He still haven't fugured out exactly HOW to ban an IP address from his forum. In fact, I could go there and post a lot of crap, and Jim won't be able to clear the mess up. I just don't bother doing that.

Good for you. It shows some maturity and restraint on your behalf. Perhaps you could exercise that more often here?

Thanks.
