And indeed, no-one would expect a script-kiddie to understand this.
It is relatively harmless. The pop-ups are being cached by the browser in the cache directory mentioned, which means they appear as "new" files to the virus scanner, which accordingly mounts a seek-and-destroy mission on them.
It is perhaps being a trifle over-protective, as the browser probably had no particular "intention" of loading them to memory or executing - well, one hopes at least - given that Internet Exploder if not otherwise restricted, may blindly execute the suicidal VB scripting tool, that may indeed be a problem.
Am I just lucky not to be affected by any of this?
