As an answer to: Re: Frenulum Breve written by Sav at 09 Mar 2006 19:52:50:
Hi Sav,
Im not a doctor, though thank you ...
Now this letter makes me wonder if you have a mild form of phimotic
ring connected with your frenulum.
I must insist on an accurate diagnosis before we start considering
accurate treatment.
It is quite difficult to diagnose a mild phimotic ring if one has
frenulum breve. The method is as follows, : - pull the foreskin
forwards, insert two (clean) little fingers and keeping them parallel
move them apart sidewards, if you feel a constraining ring of skin
which doesnt stretch as flexibly as the rest of the foreskin then you
probably have a mild phimotic ring.
This can probably be cured with steroids and stretching, but let me
talk about that later if its necessary. First it is a definate
diagnosis which you want, and I suspect it is purely a frenulum breve.
In addition, letters are always crossing in my mail box, I realise my
speed ie. one letter every two weeks, is incredibly slow for internet
but cant do anything about that because I live in the middle of a
"field" which is not online.
The alternative is you could write to the forum which I answer on line
every week, but I would suggest if we can go slowly and every two
weeks, you will get better answers.
I cannot imagine any harm from using any form of oil for lubrication -
except of course motor oil ...
