phimotic ring

A Short note to say thank you....
After a few hours (over a couple of days) of browsing to see what was wrong with my member, not knowing what to search for. I came across the phimosis conditions on your site. I've finally narrowed it down to a phimotic ring, I understand it could be cured by the use of steroid cream or if all else fails circumcision.
What I do not understand is I am a 38 year old married man........
SO WHY HAS THIS AFFECTED ME NOW.
I shower every day and am quite particular when it comes to cleanliness.
If you have an answer for this I would be most grateful because it would be missed a lot if I had to part with my foreskin after all these years.
