Just to add more information:

I have, once or twice, slept retracted and woken up with a swollen foreskin, as in these pictures: https://www.circumstitions.com/Paraphim.html

It is maybe interesting that my frenulum let it stay there all night: maybe the phimosis was tighter than the frenulum was short?

I imagine a tight frenulum could prevent paraphimosis?
