THE MEDICINE MAN HAD A DELUSION
The psychologists believe that foreskin problems are some sort of delusion.
We can assume that this "delusion" would also have been felt by the ancients, then they also had this anatomical disposition which leads to such delusions.
If by some means I had achieved a position of authority, in a small tribe, under the influence of this "delusion", I would make sure that every boy child would be somehow treated.
The principle that it might have been a delusion does not mean that the theory is invalid. |
