This site discusses phimosis in its specific forms of phimotic ring, frenulum breve, adhesions or skinbridges. During erection these conditions inhibit the relationship between foreskin and glans. This functionally restricts the erection, and thus has an effect on the sexuality. With our culture's attitudes on health care, it would be appropriate to encourage early prevention.

I realise this will be received by the anti. circ movement, as just
another devious ploy to give some sort of importance to this
"mythical" condition I call phimosis (balanitis etc. are merely
symptoms), (cancer etc. are red herrings) however I would ask
that you attempt to receive this, in the same generous spirit, with
which it is given.

------

I have now received the sixth or seventh? description of how
a phimosis led, years later, to balanitis.

Read this for example :
"He prescribed some ointment which had to be pushed inside
my foreskin every night, it worked, and the soreness, which I
now know was balanitis, went, but I didn't dare play with my
foreskin any more, and it soon closed up again."

"In Europe today, many operations occur once puberty has started. A number of cases have come to my attention. Most of the problems arise simply because boys masturbate, and the rubbing action of a phimosis repeatedly passing over the coronal ridge of the glans, causes soreness, which may subsequently develop into inflammations or infections."
---------------------

The above described process, appears to be largely unrecognised by the medical profession. It was certainly unrecognised in the 1850s.

It appears to be at least 1% of boys who have inflammations or
infections due to masturbation. Such infections are one of the
most frequently occurring symptoms of the anatomical
conditions which require a correction.

Can we imagine, back in the old days when boys had guilt
feelings about masturbation, and when questioned would
strongly deny that they did this... 1% of the boys got
*sore peckers*, and had no option but to own up and
tell the truth, that they had indeed been masturbating.
They themselves knew that masturbation had caused the
soreness, and the doctors could clearly see that circ. had
cured it.... Thus masturbation led to *sore peckers* and
once again foreskin conditions were ignored.
