I found your page on the frenulum - and it was helpful and
interesting. As you asked for personal stories, here goes
(although please maintain my anonymity!)... I'm 22 and have
always noticed that big erections can be very painful, with
my foreskin being very tight. I thought this might be a
function of having a noticeably small penis when flaccid,
which nevertheless was reasonably respectable when erect.
However, I recently bled from the head of my penis during
sex - an embarassing and scary but fairly painless event.
It's still healing (a few days later), but it was
definitely caused by the frenulum either splitting or
tearing - too early to tell which, although I'm hoping it's
the former, as I don't want it to happen again!
Either way, I'm seeing a doctor soon. So thanks for your
