Hi,

No worries. Phimosis is always diagnosed by the presence of a phimotic ring, it is this ring which prevents the foreskin stretching over the glans. However a phimotic ring can be congenital or it can develop in the presence of an infection. Not every man has a phimotic ring as you indicate, phimotic rings are only present in males who suffer from phimosis. Males without phimosis have no area of their foreskin tissue which is less elastic than the rest as is the case with phimosis sufferers.

I believe that the reason the phimotic ring appears white is because the skin is in affectively dead, with no blood circulating. I guess if the ring is not too thick it may not appear to be white because the band of 'dead' tissue is quite thin. I must comment that studies of phimotic ring tissue are hard to find and I guess variations in the ring between individual cases may exist.

Indeed not all babies are born with phimosis, fortunately. It is believed that around 1 in 10 males may suffer with phimosis at some time.

It's good to hear that you are enjoying an uninhibited sex life. However phimosis often causes discomfort during intercourse particularly where no lubrication is used. Additionally phimosis is often present with Frenulum Breve which is known to cause pain and difficulty. Males who suffer from both conditions are normally inhibited sexually. I am aware of studies carried out on cattle because phimosis and frenulum breve have an economical affect on farming owing to the cattle's reluctance to reproduce when these conditions are present.

I am concerned when anyone enquires about a 'tool' for stretching a foreskin. These tools are no more effective than stretching without and they may cause more damage to a very sensitive area of the anatomy. If you wish to try stretching the use of a steroid cream would be much more appropriate. Be advised to steer clear of these so called 'quick fix' tools.

I hope this helps.
